Joey J Drums

Joey J Drums is a percussionist and multi-instrumentalist based in the DC area who takes the combined influences of Peter Gabriel, ilyAIMY, Panic! At the Disco, Ed Sheeran, Phil Collins, and beyond to create compelling original music.

 

Joey J Drums uses his music to empower and inform, both working with as a solo artist under the name Silence Echoez, and as a bandmate, but always deliberately focusing on self-reflective lyrics that easily allow the listener to put themselves solidly in the shoes of someone else.

 

The intentionally vulnerable and unambiguously political content consistently contains desperate calls to act, but to act consciously.
